I've decided to spend my first day of 2013 relaxing, so this is what you get, internet. 2012 was quite an interesting year. I did a lot, learned a lot, cried a lot, laughed a lot, and had a lot of fun. Hoping 2013 is the best year yet for all of you. :)

Some good friends of mine are in a band called the Bare Feat. They're a really cool, Austin-based funk-rock group made up of nine extremely talented musicians that I go to school with. They're currently in a last-band-standing contest online. If they win this contest, they get to perform at a private party with all the bands that are playing at the 2012 Austin City Limits Music Festival, which includes Red Hot Chili Peppers, Jack White, the Black Keys, Florence + the Machine, and more. This really means a lot to them, and they're seriously so gosh darn good they deserve to win.
